What is Hypnotherapy?

The use of Hypnosis for therapy is called Hypnotherapy – and can be applied in a variety of ways. The most common uses of hypnosis & hypnotherapy are…
Hypnotic Suggestion
Hypnotic Visualization
Hypno-Analysis
Regression Hypnosis
Belief Work

Hypnotherapy is known to be one of the kindest quickest and most effective forms of personal therapy available.

Is It Safe?

Hypnotherapy is perfectly safe. It is an agreement between you and the hypnotherapist. You remain in control at all times and cannot be instructed to do or say anything you would not normally do or say.

How Does It Work?

Hypnosis bypasses the conscious mind and allows direct communication with the subconscious mind, allowing you to create new positive images, feelings, sights, sounds, smells and emotions to replace the negative ones you may have picked up inadvertently over the years.

Does a Hypnotized person give up control?

Absolutely not. When you are in a Hypnotic state you are in complete control of all your normal faculties and would never do anything that you wouldn't ordinarily be prepare to do.

How does Hypnosis feel?

Since Hypnosis is a natural state of mind, clients are often surprised that they hear every word. Unless one enters a deeper state, he or she may not "feel" any different than when relaxing in a favourite chair reading a good book or engrossed in a good film.

How will I feel directly after Hypnosis?

Great! Relaxed, rejuvenated, cool and calm, reenergized and ready to meet the demands of the day.

Is hypnotherapy useful for children?
Children respond exceptionally well to hypnotherapy. Some common uses are academic and athletic improvement, test anxiety, fears and phobias.
Children ages 5 and over may be hypnotized as their ability to relax and listen are usually developed by this time.   Parents or guardian should accompany the child in the session.  With children under 5, I prefer to do EFT with as it is very interactive and they do not need to concentrate.

What is EFT?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a powerful, effective, simple emotional release practice. By simply tapping on certain points on the body while focusing on the negative emotions that you wish to release, you can quickly and easily reduce and even eliminate fears, anxieties, cravings and blocks to creative performance.
The tapping points are taken from the Chinese Medicine model in which there are pathways of energy that run through your body.  When the energy is blocked and inhibited from flowing freely through those pathways, you can experience mental and even physical pain.  According to Gary Craig, the founder of EFT “he cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.” By tapping on a series of acupressure points, EFT helps you balance the body’s energy system and restore the positive flow.  Once that negative charge has been eliminated, the positive intentions that you came for are even more powerfully reinforced by the hypnotic suggestions.

EFT will help you:
Remove negative emotions
Reduce food craving
Reduce and eliminate pain
